Social Conference

This week, I have been at a social media conference put on by Ragan Communications and Coca-Cola in Atlanta. The keynote speaker last night was David Pogue who is the technology writer for the New York Times. For those of you that think technology and social media is boring, check David Pogue out in this video:

He performed that and many other songs for us as a finally to his brilliant speech about social media. My cheeks were ACHING from laughing so hard during his talk. In a word, it was awesome!

Also, during his speech, he shared hilarious excerpts from his book The World According to Twitter.

I had heard about this book before but dismissed it because, after all, what else is there to know about Twitter? Well, I was wrong! David Pogue shared hilarious stories about the wit of his Twitter followers and I promptly ordered the book from Amazon. I will share my thoughts once it arrives!

If you guys check out David Pogue or The World According to Twitter, let me know. I would LOVE to chat about ti with you. I think it goes without saying that I definitely think you should check it out!

Great blog! This makes me sad that I still don’t have an I-Phone, but, it made me laugh too …. so, I guess it evens out!

I started a blog a while ago and got discouraged because I didn’t think anyone was reading it … so, just wanted to let you know there are people reading it and keep up the good work!
